To-do list / 2

Now that I am in England, I need to sort out a couple of things; administrative matters, money matters, etc.... That's why I decided to make a second To-do list:

• Open a bank account (at Lloyd's or Barclays)
• Buy a pay-as-you-go phone
• Provide documents to my school regarding the CRB check
• Ask for P46 and P86 tax forms and ask for help
• Ask for some information about the National Insurance Number (NI number)
• Book an appointment to get a NI number
• Get a NI number
  
• Register with a local NHS (National Health Service) doctor
• Ask about the Local Government Pension Scheme
• Buy a bedside lamp
• Buy a dustbin
• Buy a bathrobe
• Buy some decoration for my room
• If not found in the house, buy a weighing machine
• Buy a 16-25 railcard

Ok, I'm leaving for more than 8 months. It needs some preparation!
Here's my list, for now:

• Send police clearance from Switzerland
• Book flight
  
• Make ISIC card
• Make a certified copy of my birth certificate
• Make a certified copy of my maturité
• Print out my relevé de notes and/or, if received;
• Make a certified copy of my Bachelor of Arts
  
• Ask my mentor teacher about the "letter from a headteacher"
• Ask my mentor teacher about the medical certificate
• If asked, go to the doctor to get a medical certificate
  
• Ask my bank to write me a recommendation letter
• Make identity pictures
• If asked, phone my school
  
• Find the DVDs of: Les Visiteurs and Paris Je t'aime and François Silvan
  
• Find some good French music
• Find some French magazines/newspapers
• Find maps and brochures from Paris
• Find some brochures from Switzerland
• Find some easy texts/stories/books
• Bring presents for MT and host family
  
• Make photocopies of my passport, ID card, and all the important stuff
• Cure my laptops
  
• Ask about insurances
• Mobile phone matters
• Take something to prove my Swiss address
• Pack
• Change money
• Put some money on my PrePaid card
